Over £700,000 raised since the first challenge in 2013

The Pedal Taiwan Nine Hour Challenge on Saturday 21st April 2018 involves a combination of mountain biking and hiking options through the stunning trails and hills of the world heritage Jurassic Coast of Dorset, the aim being to complete your chosen route in under nine hours.  All participants are accompanied by experienced guides to show them the way and to keep them safe, with food and rest stops en route.

 The morning route options are:

  • "black" bike:   36km
  • "red" bike:      29km
  • "green" hike:  11km

The afternoon route options are:

  • "black" hike:   18km
  • "green" hike:  15km

The most challenging “black” route combination therefore involves 54km distance, whilst the most popular combination is the 47km “red” bike and “black" hike.  There is a 26km "green" hike only route for those with an aversion to two wheels!
